8a to 2pm then 5pm to 930pm for dinner. Mondays
Yes they have gf english muffins! So yummy ? Their granola and pancakes are gf, as well as other options like scrambles that you can get without toast or substitute a gf english muffin.
Yes! They have gf pancakes, gf English muffins, and gf granola!
Always in advance unless you can get there as they open
I've seen people with their dogs seated on the patio out front. I don't believe dogs are allowed inside though.
Love that they pay living wages and don't require tips! This should be adopted everywhere! Oh yes, and they're food is amazing!
I visited this place with high expectations given its fame. Immediately, I could tell this place was well known because I had to wait over 30 minutes to get a table. The food, however, was no where near special. The scrambled eggs were overcooked. The food was not terrible but certainly not worth the hype and 30 minute wait.
A beautiful Sunday spent in the warmth of Zazie's soulful food. We sat outside with our dog and had some essential brunch items like eggs, french toast, chicken sandwich and their delicious soups. These everyday dishes were made super delicious by the restaurant and gave it their own signature style. The servers were super helpful and we're cautious about our food allergies. We loved this quaint place with delicious food.
Amazing breakfast. Prices are steep but upfront. Prices are clearly explained. Goes towards the staffs' insurance and 401k. Would definitely come here again.1 eggs benedict for a snack.2 eggs if you're somewhat hungry.3 eggs is the way to go!
Very good typical southern food. I got the chicken biscuits and the gravy was so good. The chicken was good too but had way too much breading and not enough actual meat. The side salad was nicely dressed.
We randomly came across Zazie’s and were so glad we were able to get a table because the food was delicious. We had the walnut French toast and the eggs Florentine and they were both drool worthy! It’s nice you can choose the number of servings (1-4) you like! They also state that they don’t expect tips, and pay their staff rightfully which is refreshing in the U.S. Most importantly, they have great coffee!
Absolutely love the food and the vibe of this place! Especially like how they seem to respect their employees and pay them reasonably without asking for tips. The coffee and chai are great and are presented in a nice way.
We waited 1 hour but it worth it!My croque monsieur was one the best I ate in SF! Like in France! We had bunch in the patio. It was perfect!
Good quality food and drinks. Super charming atmosphere and back indoor patio. There is usually a wait. I personally hate waiting and they often have long waits during busier times so I would recommend going during a less busy time if you don't like long waits. It's definitely worth trying though. The atmosphere is what makes it so great, in my opinion, truly so charming but the food is also great and the service is very friendly and professional.
Amazing food. Very good food. Very helpful staff. Maya Margarita worth a try. A little bit of a long wait but this place is definitely worth the wait.
Great brunch place, Great selection of eggs. Crazy long queue. Reservations or a digital signing list will make life easier for everyone! Thanks!
Good, but not great. Friendly service. Went there for lunch, but was disappointed to find our their weekly "lunch" is more "brunch/breakfast" focused with a very limited "lunch" menu selection. Had the coffee cake, which was a bit dry without a lot of flavor (4 out of 10.) The Tahiti banana French toast was flavorful, but a bit too sweet & the toast was soggy (7/10.) The skillet with two eggs special with breakfast potatoes was decent, but again not spectacular. I've had better breakfasts in SF.I'll try their dinner menu next time, which the place was recommended to me for, and report back. However for lunch/brunch, on this day, I think there are much better choices available.
Nice ambience, delicious food, and great service.Bonus point: No tips are expected. The price on the menu is the price you pay for the food and service.
Delicious food. One of the most charming and cozy atmospheres in San Francisco. Beautiful back patio with good lighting and tasteful seats. Staff is welcoming. Bread is delicious. Close to the Muni (N Judah). Love coming here for date night or treating visiting parents and friends. Outdoor seating in front is dog friendly and the back patio is open to dogs on Mondays!
Server was excellent and food was worth the wait. Highly recommend! A San Fran fave.
I was there for a wedding party. We had light, sumptuous finger food and attentive servers who kept our glasses full. The walled-in rear patio, all brick and green, is beautiful.
One of my favorites. Great ambience, food, and wait staff. I wish it were in Berkeley!

Great little french bistro in heart of Cole Valley. Good food wine and service at reasonable prices. Highly recommended. In nice weather sit on the patio in back or tables on the sidewalk.
Good for brunch. Atmosphere is chill cafe. Sometimes crowded. A little bit pricier than average, but food is very good and they are doing it right paying staff an actual wage. My favorite is the gingerbread pancakes with lemon sauce and a cooked pear on top.
We stopped in for breakfast and were sat immediately, the back patio is warmed and decorated for Valentine’s Day. The food was wonderful, we had eggs, French toast and the Eggs Benedict. Everything was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Very sweet spot, would absolutely recommend!
The food is delicious. The burritos are so big. It's 3 meals for me. The pancakes are the best I ever had. Its a beautiful Restaurant with delicious food! I suggest everyone to eat there! Very lovely
It took us an hour to get seated. I admire what they are doing with employee pay (having tips included in price), but that didn't translate to good service. Had to get waiters attention for water refills. Also 11 bucks for one pancake is a bit too much. Tastes great, but wont be coming back.
Fantastic spot to grab food when in a rush. Their service is prompt, rates are affordable, great ambience. Would recommend to others
I just enjoy their food. I always get fantastic customer service there. The place is always clean and the workers are always welcoming. Will come back again.
My first experience today at breakfast. It was THE best breakfast I have ever had. I ordered the Genevieve plate and gluten free English muffin. The white cheddar in my eggs was perfect. That muffin was perfect. I never eat out for breakfast because most often it's never better than I can make at home. This place is the exception! The service was spot on and friendly. I can't wait to go back. I also love this statement the restaurant presents. I fully support this.
I waited 2+ hours in line for a table for 4 during brunch on a Saturday, but it was more than worth it. The service was great and the food was new to me. The coffee came in huge bowls like soup, and the place may seem pricey but is tip free. The workers there have 401k, which was interesting! A lot of places have beyond meat as meat replacement options, but this place also had artificial egg replacements in case you can't or by choice decide not to eat eggs. They also have mimosas and great pancakes!
Great french food. Little pricey but when you consider they don't expect a tip and offer so many benefits to there employees to include paid vacation, health insurance, and a 401 k it seems more reasonable. Food is excellent and the employees seem very motivated. Parking kind of a pain in the a#$ but no more than the rest of San Francisco. Also they have like 15 different mimosas.
I recommend the eggs Benedict, eggnog latte, Maya mimosa, French toast, the home fries, water, service, vibes. Boisterous and quaintness create great atmosphere. Prices are tangible but the food tastes upscale and delicious. Sorry, no pics of the food, it wouldn't do it justice, just believe when people swear by this establishment. Great job from the bus boys to the chefs, KUDOS.
